Meesapulimala

           Meesapulimala is the second highest peak in South India, a peak in high ranges of Western Ghats in the Idukki District of Kerala, standing at 2641 meters above sea level. Meesapulimala is an ideal place for treckking. Trekking can start from either Rhodovalley or Silent Valley, which is 6 km prior to Rhodovalley.

8 km trek from Rhodovalley takes you through the high altitude grasslands, rainforests and wildlife. On the way you can see small waterfalls. Meesapulimala is a must visit destination for nature and adventure lovers.


             Rhodovalley, which is so named because of plenty of Rhododendron trees lining the valley. This hill station offers a clear view of Topstation, Eravikulam national park, Anayirankal dam, Kollukumalai and neighboring state Tamil Nadu. The trek from Rhodovalley to the peak takes around 2 hours.
